I had heard of Reiki as a hands-on healing method a couple of years ago and have been very curious about it. I was thrilled to see the ad in the paper for Sacred Journeys Healing Center and signed up for the Reiki level one course, not entirely sure of what was involved. I was somewhat apprehensive of spending 2 full days with a small group of strangers being initiated into something that I knew very little about. Cheryl is a wonderful, caring person who has the talent to make people feel very comfortable in her cozy center. The Reiki experience for me was very releasing. I had spent several years in counselling trying to improve my emotional well-being. I feel that spending a weekend being initiated into Reiki has done more for me than several years of various types of counselling. It has changed my perspective of love and life on many levels.  My self-esteem and confidence has improved. I am a calmer person now, who feels less stressed in everyday life. This feeling has permeated throughout our household, bringing serenity into our lives. Of course, life will always have its ups and downs, but I feel better equipped now for managing my life.  I have also been helping my family and pets with minor physical problems, such as insomnia, strains, sprains, headaches and colds, and they all enjoy the many healing aspects of Reiki. We have nipped colds in the bud and been rid of them in 24 hours!  I highly recommend Cheryl Hiebert as a Reiki Master who offers an excellent course and a beautiful initiation into the realm of Reiki.

I can say you are VERY accurate. The first example I can give is you talking about a guy in my life who wears thick glasses and has problems with this eyes – severe problems with his eyes etc etc. I had NO IDEA  the guy I was beginning to chat with at that time had severe eye problems and had wore thick glasses all of his life and had had extensive eye surgery to correct his eye problems. I had never seen him wear glasses at all.

Angel Party

I would like to take this time to thank you for the wonderful afternoon this past Saturday. I was very impressed with your short “overview” of Angels and what one of your Angel courses might touch upon. You did a fantastic job of expressing yourself in a way that was easy to understand and relate back to my own life. Because of this, I am seriously considering taking the Angel 101 course as I am confident that I will understand the concepts, ideas and information given.

The reading, of course, was also a great experience. I had no idea how quickly twenty minutes could pass! The guidance and suggestions I received were very valuable to me and I fully intend to give them a try. It was also nice to hear validations of things I felt or was thinking about.

During my reading I talked about feeling on the verge of a lot of change. It is time for my inner self to once again evolve. I knew it was needed but didn’t know how to begin. I truly believe that I have now found a place to start my new journey.

You have a great gift Cheryl. You bring a sense of comfort, hope, and lightness to those around you. I have heard these sentiments echoed over and over again from others who were there. The Angels are most definitely working both with and through you, in order to touch people’s lives. How extraordinary!

Mediumship Readings

Got home last night and didn’t think about the session. This morning when I got up, the same as I do everyday. There, by the rock path in my back yard was a single daisy.  This is not an area where we have had wild daisies grow before, and the stem was only out of the ground about an inch.  It wasn’t there yesterday, I would have noticed.  Also, the other daisies around our yard finished blooming a couple of weeks ago. It brought a smile, slight chuckle and ‘Thanks my mom!’ I think because it was a visual sign from her that you had mentioned in our reading, it made it all clearer. Thanks for facilitating this very important connection for me.

Yoga

I have had the privilege of taking yoga classes with Cheryl for a full month and in what would seem like a short period of time I experienced so much more than what I had imagined it to be. I had never taken any yoga classes before and was a little apprehensive at first with the thought of being “super” flexible but I soon found out that it was much more than that!!  It was learning how to focus on my breath, learning how to be still and simply relax, learning that by breathing properly my body would naturally stretch a little further without having to feel like I was over straining. In every class, there was a progression and I would feel more flexible and balanced, and I started to feel more confident in myself realizing that I “could” do this!!

As an instructor, Cheryl was very accommodating to everyone and always gave us lots of different options to choose from, that would suit our specific needs.  Her instructions were always easy to follow and ofcourse she would gracefully lead by example.  Because of my wonderful experience with Cheryl, I am eager to keep this up and I will continue to strive in keeping my body, mind and spirit in perfect health and harmony.

Women’s Workshops/Inner Goddess

I am being moved to write to attempt to express what a profoundly positive experience the weekend was for me.  After the workshop on Saturday, I went for dinner with a woman I met at the workshop and we talked and talked and talked.  I had a leisurely drive home on Sunday, enjoying the little towns along the way. I realized when I woke up on Monday how much I felt lightened/lighted from the inside out.  It seems that I continue to reap the benefits of the environment, the people, the doing something special for myself, and the wonderful energy which you shared with the room of women.  My family has taken to asking how the Goddess is when we speak.  I believe they sense a fundamental shift inside of me. It was an unexpected gift indeed and the debris which it cleared was another huge benefit.  Thank you.

Ion Cleanse

The ION cleanse was so great. I had a wonderful little nap and woke up so refreshed. Later that evening, I realized that although I still had almost all the joint pain, I no longer had the stiffness and I could easily walk without my cane !!!! My hand that was so swollen and so painful at a 10+ (pain) was no longer swollen and the pain is a 1-2 and I can once again close my hand into a fist. YES !!! I had a women’s group that I attended today (without my cane) and I felt wonderful. Thank you so much !!!!! I will spread the word.

Soul Reading

Chakra Clearing and Balancing

Pet Loss Bereavement Counseling

I can’t begin to tell you how much talking to you yesterday evening helped – although we spoke the one time, it helped me through what was the most difficult pain I have ever felt.  While I know it was the absolute best thing for her, there is such a void in our home. It’s still awful and sad coming home each time without her to greet me – I can’t believe how hard this is.  I sit and reflect a lot, especially with her on my lap now, and while I cry I can absolutely feel her with me still. Animal Communication

I contacted Cheryl to communicate with my young cat who was peeing on my bed. I read her email out loud to my cat who happens to like lying on my printer that is beside my laptop computer.  As I read Cheryl’s words of wisdom to him, which had more to say about my behaviour than my cat’s (!), he reached out and touched the sides of my face with his paws.  He had never done that before or since, touch me with his paws, even though I often talk with him when he lies on the printer.  What the experience taught me was to hear what my feline friend was telling me through his communication with Cheryl.  Through his reflection, I was better able to see myself, particularly what my relationship to him was like.  It was a real gift.
